On request, I have just uploaded the source code of the current
BigRedCroc Croc-Rendition Redline driver to the developer
section of Bjorn's FTP server. The filename is crocsrc.zip.

The source is in its absolutely raw, uncooked form, and was never
intended to be seen in public in this form... Please no comments
on style, missing of comments, etc... I know that!
And yes, it still must contain somewhere the bugs mentioned in the
readme.txt of the croc driver release...Perhaps you are the lucky
one to find my easter eggs?

The source code is a rather chaotic mix, derived from an early
BigRRed version, blended with chunks of original Rendition sample
code (sometimes a bit modified...) and cheerfully enhanced with
chunks of my own invention... Let me copy & paste some lines from
my mail to Jeff_C, which pertain to anyone who dares to
look into the sources:

--------
....blabla....

Feel free to contact me with any comments or questions about the sources.
Of course you can do with them what you want and how it suits your needs.
I would have cleared up the sources a little bit and would have written
short comments, when I had the time for it... -

....blabla....

My own plan for my future 'work' is the following (in chronology):
0) implement/fix the Windowed mode for debugging
1) find the remaining bugs/problems, i.e. make it 100% Croc compatible (if possible)
2) try some simple optimizations to enhance the speed
3) actively participate in BigRRed

I don't know how much time these project stages will take.

....blabla....
--------

So, I am still working on the sources, and the current state is just
'released' as it is....

Regarding copyright, I have no idea what this mix represents....
But I think, the consensus remains that no commercial profit (haha)
may be drawn from these sources, and that it is 'owned' by all who
have contributed something to them....
A type of GNU public license, as suggested by Chris Lundie, would
apply fine, I think. (but would be an overkill?)

Thanks to all who have contributed their work to BigRRed...
And, don't let us forget that without Bjorn's great work and
dedication all this would probably never be moving on...
Thanx Bjorn! Long live Bjorn's developer board!

marvin

P.S.: Last warning: don't read the sources after midnight ;-)
